Is the Ninja HydraSense water filter certified for PFAS?
SharkNinja began selling the Ninja HydraSense countertop filter on August 13, 2026; it is listed by IAPMO R&T under NSF/ANSI 42, 53 and 401, including a 7-PFAS 'Total PFAS' claim, lead and microplastics.
The HydraSense (model WF100X) went on sale on Ninja's website on August 13, 2026. It is Ninja's first water filter.
IAPMO R&T lists it under NSF/ANSI 53 for Total PFAS (PFOA, PFOS, PFHxS, PFNA, PFHpA, PFBS, PFDA), lead, mercury, cadmium and VOCs; under NSF/ANSI 42 for chlorine and chloramine; and under NSF/ANSI 401 for microplastics and several pharmaceuticals. Some launch coverage named NSF as the certifier; the listings are IAPMO R&T's.
Each filter is rated for 120 gallons or 6 months. Replacements cost $39.99. On 2026-10-23 Ninja listed the bundle at $249.99, on sale for $199.99.
The '80+ contaminants' figure is Ninja's marketing count; the certified claims are the IAPMO listings.
